  In May 25th, Hengda Group became the first batch of 3 enterprises in Qingdao to be awarded the "industrial design center" of Shandong province with the Haier and Hisense two national brand enterprises. This is another important R & D platform for Hengda Group, which is the only "national accredited enterprise technology center" in leather shoes industry. It will also become another important engine for the leather industry to accelerate transformation and upgrading.


It is reported that since this year's "two sessions" Premier Wen Jiabao put forward the vigorous development of industrial design, industrial design rose from corporate behavior to national strategy. The selection of the Shandong provincial industrial design center is aimed at developing a number of internationally competitive brand enterprises by promoting industrial design and promoting the economic development of the province.


Therefore, there are very strict requirements for the design, research and development capabilities and brand strength of enterprises. Based on years of achievements in innovation and brand, Hengda has successfully become the first "industrial design center" in Shandong Province, and has set a benchmark for industry enterprises to strengthen industrial design and enhance their capability of independent creation.


China is the largest shoemaking country in the world, with more than 16 shoe making enterprises. Most enterprises have no brand, no core technology and no innovation capability. They can only take the road of OEM. Especially since the financial crisis, many shoe manufacturers lacking in industrial design capabilities and independent brands have closed down. With the gradual disappearance of demographic dividend and natural resources advantages, as a traditional industry, leather industry has accelerated its growth mode transformation, and it has become an urgent need to rely on industrial design and technological innovation to achieve industrial transformation and upgrading.


As the vice chairman of the China Leather Association, Hengda Group has been focusing on the capability of independent innovation in the past 26 years. It has always taken industrial design as the core strategy of enterprises and embarked on a scientific development path for consumers to create "quality products, quality brands and quality life", thus creating a new development strategy of "technology intensive fashion industry".


Adhering to the mission of "creating and meeting the needs of consumers", Hengda is committed to the research and development of functions and low carbon products. Among them, the "leather seamless bonding technology" developed by Hengda can increase the utilization rate of leather by more than 17%, and it can be extended to the leather industry. It can save 73 million 500 thousand cattle per year and save 23 billion 500 million yuan for the country, which is of great significance for resource conservation and environmental protection. In order to provide consumers with the concept of environmental protection and low carbon products, Hengda actively innovating marketing mode, implementing the most avant-garde fast growing mode in the world, realizing the 7 day update of products, and providing the consumers with the big fashion consumption of parity. The customized customization business has broken the limitation of the universal standard of 1 billion 300 million people, so that consumers can "measure shoes" and bring personalized experience to consumers.


Relying on the R & D platform of the "national accredited enterprise technology center", Hengda invested 5.6% of its revenue into R & D work every year, and established and improved the incentive mechanism for innovation, introduced the high-end R & D systems such as 3D CAD shoe design, and increased cooperation with industry and research institutes with internationally renowned brands and national professional research institutes. At present, 610 national patents have been declared and authorized by the company, 39 of them have participated in the national industry standard, and more than 150 products (Technology) have been awarded the provincial or national level awards, and the results of innovation have ranked first in the industry.
