Chairman Cao Jiachang Of Textile Chamber Of Commerce Visited Myanmar

On December 7-10, Chairman Cao Jiachang of the Textile Chamber of Commerce visited Myanmar, attended the "Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Exhibition", investigated local investment policies and environment, and visited some enterprises in Myanmar. Relevant personnel from the Outreach Clothing Department and the Marketing Department of the Chamber of Commerce were accompanied.

During his stay in Myanmar, President Cao attended the "Myanmar International Textile and Machinery Exhibition" hosted by CCPIT Sichuan Council and delivered an opening speech. In his speech, President Cao spoke highly of Myanmar's important position and partnership in the "Belt and Road" initiative, and encouraged enterprises from both sides to communicate and connect to improve the competitiveness and integrity of the industrial chain. At the opening ceremony, H.E. U Soe Thein, Governor of Yangon Province, Myanmar, U Min Min, Vice Minister of Commerce of Myanmar, and Mr. U Aye Win, Chairman of Myanmar Federation of Industry and Commerce expressed their high appreciation and encouragement to CCPIT Sichuan Council for holding professional textile and clothing exhibitions in Myanmar's difficult times.

During his visit, President Cao paid a visit to Ouyang Daobing, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy in Myanmar, and Shi Kun, President of the China Textile and Garment Association of Myanmar. Both sides had in-depth discussions on the political situation, investment policies, labor resources, water and electricity supply, environmental issues and other issues in Myanmar.

During his stay in Myanmar, President Cao went to Hunan Dongyi Myanmar Factory, G&B Clothing Factory, Skytex Factory and other textile and clothing enterprises to visit and investigate, and learned about their overseas operations and global layout practices. President Cao made in-depth analysis on the current export situation of textiles and clothing, the adjustment of procurement strategies in key markets and the future development trend of the industry, listened carefully to the production and operation, market development, export orders, recruitment and employment of companies, understood the difficulties encountered by enterprises and suggestions, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the current bilateral economic and trade situation and the future development of enterprises.
