Industrial Cluster: Guangxi Mengshan Party Building Leads The Cocoon Silk Industry To "Gather Silk Into Gold"

"The establishment of the comprehensive party committee of Mengshan County's cocoon and silk industry is a vivid practice of giving full play to the leading and service role of party building in promoting development and promoting the deep integration of party building and the development of the cocoon and silk industry." Since this year, Mengshan County has combined the leadership of party building with the strategic development of the enterprise, carried out the "Red Beginnings, Colorful Silk" activity, established the comprehensive party committee of Mengshan County's cocoon and silk industry and four township level comprehensive party committees of the silkworm industry, forming a "1+4" party building led development pattern of the cocoon and silk industry.

At present, the county has facilitated the establishment of party organizations in five cocoon and silk enterprises, including Huahong, Zhongsicheng and Wufeng. Among the eight silk enterprises above the designated size in the county, 62.5% of them have established party organizations. By appointing party members with high political quality, strong professional ability and familiarity with party affairs to concurrently serve as party building instructors and liaison officers of the two new organizations, we have carried out "one-on-one" services in enterprises. Around the production and operation of cocoon and silk enterprises and the needs of workers and the masses, 25 activities were carried out to help solve about 43 "difficulties" and "blockages" in the production and operation of enterprises. We promoted the working method of organizing Party members to take the lead in the two new organizations, set up a technical research team for Party members, and led 34 key projects by Party members to promote the year-on-year growth of the output value of the silk industry in Mengshan County by more than 10%.
