Suning'S New Positioning In The Next Decade: Upgrading To Retail Service Provider
On July 27, relevant media learned that Suning's 818 30th anniversary celebration conference was held today. Gu Wei, senior vice president of Suning e-buy group, announced that Suning defined the next 10 years as scene retail service decade, and upgraded from retailers to retail service providers.
In addition, Suning e-buy released a new brand, advocated "Suning e-buy, focus on good service", and upgraded the brand visual system. Gu Weining will expand the scope of commodity price by 818% this year.
Gu Wei also mentioned that Suning will strengthen the opening up of retail infrastructure, and promise to further consolidate and export five service capabilities of supply chain, logistics, scene, finance and technology, and open small and medium-sized micro economies in the enabling industry ecology to further meet the needs of the majority of users.
Specifically, in the supply chain service direction, Suning has increased the proportion of deep customized products to 25% based on the b2s2b2c mode; at the same time, it adopts the open platform mode to match the upstream and downstream and implement the full link management. In terms of logistics services, Suning will complete the layout of 20 million square meters storage infrastructure by 2025 through the "Baichuan 2025" plan, and reduce the warehouse storage fee in the next three years.
In the aspect of scene service, it will open up online and offline digitization, help retailers upgrade scene capabilities, and cooperate with brands to reach users more efficiently. In terms of financial services, Suning will invest 300 billion yuan in new loans to its partners in the next three years, provide 50 billion yuan of subsidy financing costs for the majority of small and medium-sized businesses, and make interest free profit of 10 billion yuan to help quality consumption.
In terms of science and technology services, Suning will launch a three-year commission free policy for ISV (independent software developer) in five directions of "store foundation, sales promotion, advertising, transaction performance and data" through retail cloud strategy and Star River Cloud strategy, cultivate 100 aircraft carrier level ISVs, and build an intelligent retail enabling ecology of "100000 merchants + 100000 stores".
According to B2C and S2C, Suning will bring more value to its customers in the future. Suning will increase the proportion of self-made products to 25% and strengthen the coverage and response efficiency. For a wider range of products, the open platform model is adopted to match the upstream and downstream as well as the full link management of performance, so as to help the brand side have the opportunity to realize the overall inventory. For all platform merchants, Suning will open all scene users and all channel resources.
So far, Suning logistics has covered 95% of the country, and will further consolidate the logistics infrastructure in the future. Gu Wei said at the press conference that Suning will complete the layout of 20 million square meters of storage infrastructure in the core economic belt by 2025, "in the next three years, on the premise of meeting certain turnover efficiency, we will reduce warehouse storage charges and add various policy support."
