The forum was held. Experts from the provincial Commission for Industry and commerce, Zhongyuan University of Technology and the Provincial Textile Industry Association invited the Dengzhou textile industry's "13th Five-Year plan" and "2025 development plan" (Draft) for further discussion.

The meeting first interpreted the "13th Five-Year" and "2025 development plan" of Dengzhou textile industry (Draft).

Wu Gang, member of the Standing Committee of the Nanyang Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Dengzhou municipal Party committee, pointed out that the textile and garment industry is one of the traditional competitive industries and one of the three pillar industries in our city. Accelerating the development of the textile industry is of great significance for improving Dengzhou's economic strength, promoting the increase of farmers' income, increasing employment and serving the strategic development of the Central Plains Economic Zone.

The Dengzhou textile industry "13th Five-Year" and "2025 development plan" (Draft for comment) expounded the development direction, target positioning and policy measures of Dengzhou's textile industry during the planning period, including 8 aspects: industry status, development situation, advantages and layout, guiding ideology and original principles, development ideas and objectives.

To make further preparations for the "13th Five-Year and 2025 development plan" of Dengzhou textile industry, Wu Gang pointed out that further efforts should be made in the planning of the industrial chain, so that the front-end and the back end of the plan will be more closely linked.

The key points of the industry chain must be determined. We should make up for the short board of the lack of external power, build a regional platform sharing system, make a good industrial orientation, further enrich the content of the outline, improve the depth and breadth of the outline, make the outline more forward-looking and close to the actual development of the next five years in our city.

We should further plan the major construction projects supporting the "13th Five-Year" development of our city, enhance the added value of hi-tech industries, and promote technological innovation as the core to promote industrial innovation, industrial organization innovation, management innovation and business mode innovation.

According to the industrial development situation of our city, we should further plan the 13th Five-Year and 2025 development plans of the textile industry so as to make the planning more practical and feasible.

Mayor Luo Yantao asked that the relevant departments, township blocks and industrial enterprises should attach great importance to the formulation of the plan, fully cooperate with the Provincial Textile Industry Association to formulate the development plan of our textile and garment industry, and according to the actual situation, combined with the detailed planning to decompose the development goals, work out the plan.

The annual action plan is to set up a catalogue bank for developing key projects, to detail the development direction, development goals and key points of our textile and garment industry, and do our best to strengthen the textile and garment industry and lead the healthy development of our industrial economy.

At the meeting, the experts and scholars from the provincial labor and credit commission, Zhongyuan University of Technology, the Provincial Textile Industry Association and the heads of some textile and garment enterprises in Dengzhou proposed amendments and suggestions on the "13th Five-Year" and "2025 development plan" of the textile industry.

Zhou Jun, a researcher at the provincial Ministry of industry and Commerce Commission, hopes that the textile and garment industry of our city should be clustered and developed.

We should further intensify our research and development efforts and plan for the development of brands.

Yuan Jianlong, executive director of the Provincial Textile Industry Association, said that the valuable opinions and suggestions put forward by the participating experts should be carefully combed, and the contents of the planning should be further revised, and the "Dengzhou 13th Five-Year" and "2025 development plan" of the textile industry of Dengzhou should be revised and revised more closely and more operable.
