Textile industry

With the introduction of various preferential policies, more and more textile enterprises are scrambling to settle in Xinjiang.

At present, there are more than 40 well-known enterprises of the top 500 national textile enterprises in Xinjiang to invest and build factories. The reconstituted cotton textile and chemical fiber production capacity accounts for more than 80% of the total volume of Xinjiang, and Xinjiang has gradually become a paradise for the textile industry.

Capital is profit driven. Why do so many industrial capital gather in Xinjiang?

1, the policy advantages are obvious.

The state has set up a special fund for industrial development.

The textile freight subsidy has increased the support for Xinjiang, especially in the southern Xinjiang. The use of local cotton in Xinjiang has also been subsidized. Preferential tax policies, low price concessions, land and plant construction, and financial support have been implemented.

2, resource advantages are obvious.

Xinjiang is the largest cotton producing base in China. Cotton output and quality have been ranked first in the country. The long staple cotton in Akesu is enjoying the world.

3, geographical location advantage is obvious.

Xinjiang is located in the geographical center of the Eurasian continent. It is a bridgehead opening to the West in China, an important node on the Silk Road Economic Belt, and bordering 8 countries. Most of these countries have traditional friendship with our country.

The Belt and Road Initiative

With the implementation of the strategy, multilateral economic and trade exchanges are increasing.

How can so many advantages not let textile enterprises covet?

However, we must also soberly see that there are many problems that restrict the development of Xinjiang's textile industry. For example, the rapid development of the industry has brought about insufficient technological strength; the supporting industrial chain is not perfect, and the downstream weaving and dyeing enterprises are mostly concentrated in the southeast coastal areas, which has increased the pport week and pportation costs; cotton planting has not yet been fully realized; the small scattered farmers can not achieve the mechanical production and the cost of planting is still high; the varieties and quality of planting are uneven, and the "three silk" control is lax.

At present, Xinjiang's cotton and textile industry can only go a step further by constantly innovating, improving itself and upgrading technology, and getting rid of dependence on policies as soon as possible. How to solve these problems and integrate Xinjiang's geopolitical and resource advantages into industrial advantages is the key to the development of Xinjiang's textile industry, so that Xinjiang can truly become a paradise for cotton and textile industry.
