Or the termination of sponsorship contract will be terminated.

According to the Broadcasting British Corporation (BBC) January 24th report, Adidas has informed the IAAF that it will end its sponsorship of the IAAF 4 years ahead of schedule, after Adidas was the largest IAAF.

Sponsor

It is widely believed that this is the immediate consequence of a recent doping scandal.

According to sources, Adidas's move will cause the IAAF to lose tens of millions of dollars in revenue.

Ending the sponsorship contract will be a heavy blow for IAAF President Sebastian C.

BBC said Adidas did not comment on the matter.

IAAF

A short statement was released on 25, which did not mention the contract with Adidas, but said that "close ties with all sponsors and partners in the process of reform".

BBC learned that in November, after the state sponsored athletes were exposed to the doping scandal, Adidas informed the IAAF that it was considering ending the sponsorship relationship.
