German Textile Machinery Promotes Iran Customers' Demand For "German Technology".

German textile machinery and accessories manufacturers were successful at the VDMA textile machinery conference, and promoted the demand of Iran customers for "German technology".

At present, there are about 1 million employees in the textile and clothing and carpet industry in Iran, with an annual export volume of US $1 billion, and exports will reach US $2 billion in the next few years.

In 2014, German textile machinery exports to Iran amounted to 37 million euros.

For this situation, Thomas Waldmann, general manager of VDMA Textile Machinery Association, said, "we now see the opportunity to regain market share.

The longer customers do not buy German machinery, the more challenging it is to develop new businesses.

In spite of political uncertainty, we took a sensible decision in 2014 - for this reason, to hold this seminar in Iran.

The actual effect has gone far beyond our expectations.
