Designer Cai Guanting graduated from the Raffles School of design in Donghua, Shanghai. She attended the Shanghai fashion week in 2011 and took part in DBS (Design By Shanghai) in Shanghai fashion week in 2014.

The designer's work is usually inspired by men's clothing and many traditional costumes at different times, and then blended with different elements to make the work more modernized. The designer thinks that black is a color full of many emotions, so black is also the most commonly used color in the series.
