"As the rapid development of the American garment and footwear industry, trade policy is very important for the current and future development trend," said Philip C. Williamson, chairman, President and CEO of AAFA and chairman of Williamson-Dickie manufacturing company.

AAFA international trade policy is an indicator of the industry. It can help the apparel and footwear industry in the United States maintain its competitive edge in the global market. It is crucial that the updating of AAFA's international trade policy can solve new problems quickly.

With the popularity of American brands around the world, AAFA advocates legislation to support the sustained growth of the industry at home and abroad.
