The PMI survey of manufacturing industry has been released.

As shown below, 25 countries have announced PMI in September, of which 8 countries are improving their manufacturing sector, 15 countries are deteriorating, and 2 countries remain unchanged.

The 50 is the dividing line of PMI's prosperity and decline. The readings above 50 indicate the expansion of manufacturing industry and the decline of 50 representatives.

In the report, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch wrote that 8 countries in the 25 countries were shrinking in manufacturing and 17 in expansion.

In particular, Austria, Germany, Greece, South Korea and Norway are shrinking from expansion to expansion, while Italy and South Africa are shrinking from expansion to expansion.
