On the dial of Arceau wristwatch, the watchmaker uses miniature marquetry to create representative patterns in bright colors, which makes people stand out. Wheat straw is an extraordinary material: the naked wheat stem is long and smooth, and the available parts need to be carefully selected. Plant varieties planted on a single cultivated land shall be carefully cut by hand and then dyed. After successive dyeing and soaking, the wheat straw is air dried, showing bright and delicate tonal levels, mixed with low-key bright light. The craftsman combines the color, shadow and fiber direction of each straw to create a straw mosaic process, which becomes the pattern on the dial. The craftsman cut each part with the yardstick of no language comparison, assembled them one by one in an unimaginable small space, and reshaped the perspective trick of H Cube pattern - the ingenuity of the design is unique, which is similar to that of Henri d'Origny's Arceau wristwatch.
