China Cotton Association To Hold National Cotton Situation Analysis Meeting

In 2011, the cotton market was depressed, and the number of temporary stocks reached a record high, which played an important role in stabilizing the cotton market. The new year's temporary collection and storage policy is about to be launched. In order to correctly analyze the situation and do a good job in 2012's cotton work, the China Cotton Association is scheduled to hold a national cotton situation analysis meeting in Beijing on September 18. The executive director of the Association and relevant cotton related units are invited to attend. Relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

　　 1、 Meeting content

（1） Briefly review the cotton production, purchase and sales, cotton textile production and export in 2011;

（2） Analyze and forecast the cotton and textile situation in 2012, including cotton output, consumption forecast, price trend, textile operation, domestic sales and export situation of textiles and clothing;

（3） Understand the listing of new cotton in various regions, including the implementation of temporary storage policies, sales and quality of seed cotton;

（4） Specific measures and suggestions were discussed and put forward for the cotton work in 2012.

Invite relevant national departments and industry organizations to attend the meeting, and interpret the macro policies, industry situation, deposit situation, fund supply, etc; The cotton associations of Xinjiang Autonomous Region, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Shandong, Henan, Hebei, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces are invited to do a good job of investigation and research, prepare written materials and make special speeches on the listing of new cotton in this region; Relevant executive director units of the Association are invited to make conference exchange speeches based on the information that the enterprise has.
