Germany's green energy tax is contrary to the constitution, and it refuses to pay the tax.

Bernd Drechsel, President of Drechsel Fran textile company in Karlsruhe, said it was preparing to sue in the Federal Constitutional Court of the Federal Republic of China.

Two other textile companies also refused to pay green energy taxes.

Another company said it would pay taxes according to the law.

It is reported that the trial may take two to three years.

The appeal of these enterprises was supported by Gerrit Manssen, a Regensburg law professor.

He believes that the so-called renewable energy costs are unreasonable additional costs, similar to the coal tax promulgated by the federal government of Karlsruhe in 1994.

The German textile and Apparel Association criticised that the tax collection was made by every electricity consumer, but it did not benefit the general public but only the renewable energy enterprise.

But Wolf-R diger Baumann, the principal leader of the association, also said that Germany's energy pformation is the responsibility of all the society, and the government must give financial support to it through taxation.

It is said that every year Germany needs to pay a green energy tax of about 125 euros per household.

To support the green energy market, Germany now needs to pay 3.59 euro cents per kilowatt hour.
