Building E-Commerce Platform Luxury Goods To Enter The Chinese Market A Big Step Forward
Global Luxury goods The brand has tasted the sweetness of the rapid development of the Chinese mainland market, and now they are ready to further open the e-commerce market of Chinese luxury goods.
Last week in Beijing, China, the biggest show in Germany in seven years. Men's luxury goods Hugo Boss is going to open their e-commerce platform this fall. The high street brand Alexander Wang, who has just entered China, has also chosen to open its high-end shopping website this week.
"The platform we will set up will be the first luxury e-commerce platform developed and operated by our brand in the Chinese mainland market." Hugo Boss Asia Pacific chairman and chief executive officer Li Xiuzhe said.
He said that the platform will set up logistics centers and distribution centers in China to serve Chinese customers better and faster.
"Luxury e-business platform is different from traditional e-commerce platform. We won't win at a low price. We attract customers through quality service. " Li Xiuzhe said.
In 2009, YOOX, a world-renowned luxury e-commerce website, helped Emporio Armani set up a Chinese shopping platform for Chinese customers. In the next few years, e-commerce websites such as big brands mushroomed.
YOOX Group founder and CEO Federico Marchetti said: "China has very large demand, but its quality is not high end. In China, e-commerce is widely used, but in the customer experience, there is a lack of high-end online shopping experience and services provided by luxury goods. So high-end luxury e-business platform is increasingly stationed in China.
