On the 29 day, the third national garment Standardization Technical Committee General Meeting and the 2011 Annual meeting were held in Xingyang, the industrial pfer base of China's garment industry. This is another great event of Henan's 12 garment enterprises after last year's entry into China's apparel industry.

It is reported that in the past 5 years, the national garment standard committee has completed 36 national standards and 12 industry standards for the garment industry.

So far, China's clothing industry has 38 national standards and 27 industry standards, including basic standards, method standards and product standards.

The meeting revealed that in the next few years, the children's clothing safety standards system, which is most concerned by the society, should be strengthened.

At present, China has drawn up national standards such as "Safety specifications for children's tops and belts" and "safety requirements for ropes and belts for children's wear" and so on, standardizes the sales market of children's clothing in China, but the overall standard system of children's clothing needs to be improved. So in the next two or three years, China will declare the national mandatory standards for children's clothing safety requirements, standardize the pH value, color fastness, safety and environmental protection of children's clothing, so as to improve the safety performance of children's clothing in China.

In addition, the national clothing standards committee will set up a standard system of functional clothing in China through the combination of product standards and methods and standards, such as radiation proof maternity dress, iron free shirts, stain resistant shirts, moisture absorption quick drying ironing shirts, etc., to provide uniform operation rules for them.

In addition, there are 4 international standard markets in terms of clothing size, including international standards, and Japan and South Korea standards, as well as two domestic standards. Consumers are often at a loss when buying. In the future, these 4 standards will be integrated with international standards to facilitate consumers to buy.
