The 181 reduction was 7%, of which 43 were the largest in Brazil, 13 more than the same period in the previous year, 34 in India, 15 in the EU, and Brazil on the mainland, the United States and Mexico.

Anti-dumping

The number of surveys was 7, 5 and 4, respectively, and 3 in India and South Korea.

During this period, the number of anti-dumping duties paid by WTO members was 102, representing a decrease of 23% compared with 132 in the same period of the previous year, of which 20 were the largest in India, 15 in the United States, 14 in Argentina again, and 8, 10 and 8 imported products from the mainland of China, respectively. Last year, the mainland of China was still the object of anti-dumping investigations and anti-dumping duties most frequently by WTO members.

The committee also pointed out in its annual report that the number of anti dumping investigations carried out by most WTO members decreased last year, but Brazil showed an increasing trend.

At the G20 summit held in Brazil in November 2nd this year, against the pledges of leaders at last year's Toronto summit in Seoul and Seoul to avoid any new obstacles to trade and investment, it was said that the country was deeply affected by some countries' devaluation of Global trade and export subsidies, and that the adoption of protective measures was justified in the current economic situation.

Brazil also strongly attacked the monetary easing policy adopted by the United States, which created a new low interest rate in the United States. The investment hot money poured into Brazil, resulting in the appreciation of Brazil's currency and the decline of export competitiveness.

Brazil has proposed to WTO to import defensive measures to specific countries to compensate for the adverse effects of currency changes on the China World Trade Center, but the proposal has been rejected by the United States and the European Union.
