The Fifteenth Xiamen Fair Opened &Nbsp; Wu Bangguo Opened The "9. 8" Golden Key.

At 10:10 a.m. today (September 8th), the fifteenth China International Investment and trade fair, which has attracted much attention from the world, was opened in Xiamen. Wu Bangguo, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, opened the golden key of the fair.
Vice chairman and Secretary General of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Li Jianguo, former Vice Premier of the State Council Wu Yi, Sri Lanka Prime Minister Jaya Ratner, Vice Premier Ravoford and Mrs. Samoa, director general of the Customs General Administration, Bai Zhijian, director general of Macao joint office, Shen Chunyao, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Lin Fengzheng of the vice chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang, Fujian provincial Party Secretary, Qinghai provincial Party Secretary, Fujian governor, Qinghai provincial governor and officials from various investment promotion agencies in the world attended the opening ceremony.
Chen Deming, Minister of Commerce, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was chaired by Vice Minister of Commerce Jiang Yaoping.
This meeting will coincide with 15th anniversary and China's accession.
World Trade Organization
10th anniversary, the year when the national implementation of the 12th Five-Year plan and the development plan for the Economic Zone on the west side of the Straits opened, is of great significance.
The participants were also very concerned and full of expectations at this session.
It is understood that there are 3200 international standard booths at this fair.
Total exhibition area
65 thousand square meters, 12 exhibition areas, a total of 62 countries and regions participating.
Among them, Russia, India, Bangladesh and other 3 countries for the first time to participate in the exhibition.
The fair will hold 5 professional exhibitions in the same period, namely the seventh Strait Tourism Expo, the third China International Real Estate Investment Fair, the 2011 China Venture chain exhibition, 2011 China International Energy Conservation and environmental protection and new energy exhibition and 2011 China brand tea exhibition.
The number of overseas businessmen who enroll in this year's meeting is high and the number of groups is high, especially in emerging market countries.
A total of 108 countries and regions, 10 international organizations and 636 overseas institutions have explicitly participated in the group. Among them, Brazil, Russia, India, South Africa and other "BRIC countries" first collectively lit up.
According to statistics, a total of 482 senior officials from overseas governments, heads of international organizations, heads of business associations and executives of pnational corporations attended the meeting.
During this session, 64 forums and seminars will be held, including 2011 International.
Investment Forum
The world chamber of Commerce leaders Roundtable and 2011 cross strait pportation and Logistics Investment Fair, the Eighth China (Xiamen) International Friendship City Mayors Forum, the second world Chinese real estate forum, Fujian business hundred strong forum, China EU investment and trade talks, the Sixth Asia Pacific Investment Fund summit, capital wealth forum, China Africa investment high level Symposium and other activities.
In the aspect of project docking, 20 docking activities will be held during the grand event, and a temporary docking service area will be set up to serve customers.
It is noteworthy that this year, the "Internet fair" will play an important role. At present, 3301 domestic and overseas investment promotion institutions and enterprises have launched online booths, online reporting more than 12000 investment projects, and matching more than 1500 projects to investors.
It is understood that since its inception, the meeting has been more effective and distinctive.
In the first fourteen sessions, more than 14300 investment cooperation projects were signed, and the cooperation amount exceeded about 100000000000 US dollars.
The Expo and Tourism Fair attracted more than 1400 journalists from more than 300 media, and more than 50 thousand guests showed that this event will bring new achievements.
