He Was Selected As The Torch Bearer Of The Twenty-Sixth World University Games.

Recently, from the Organizing Committee of the twenty-sixth World University Games, after being seriously recommended and strictly selected, Professor He Yang, curator of the National Costume Museum of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, was selected as the torch bearer. He will participate in the torch relay event held in Guangzhou University town in May 15th.

The torch relay is the prelude to this Universiade. The torch bearer is mainly composed of representatives of teachers and students from all over the country, representatives of athletes from all walks of life and representatives from all walks of life. While passing the torch, they also convey the spirit of friendship, fraternity, fairness, perseverance, integrity, cooperation and striving to the world. In 2008, Professor He Yang designed the Beijing Olympic Games, Paralympic Games uniforms, torch relay costumes, awarding ceremonial costumes, Paralympic China style entry costumes, and the national spaceflight department's "God seven" astronaut cabin working clothes and sleeping bag bags. In 2009, we designed the National Day 60th anniversary celebrations, the group procession flag, the national emblem array clothing, and the Beijing volunteer clothing; in 2010, we designed the sixteenth Asian Games awarding etiquette costumes; we won the national science and Technology Ministry of science and technology Olympic Games advanced personal, technology Textile Optical Technology Education Foundation awarded the textile light Teacher Award, the north Beijing Germany advanced individual, and so on, this time also participated in the University Games series clothing design. Professor Heyang will hold the torch of the world Universiade together with other torch bearers, inspire others and deliver brilliant results with its excellent quality and life experience.

It is understood that the World University Games, formerly known as the International Collegiate games, was held in 1959 and sponsored by the International Collegiate Athletic Association, known as the "little Olympics". On the occasion of the ninety-second "youth day of May 4th", the launching ceremony of the Universiade torch relay and the first station relay event were launched at Peking University this morning. 100 days later, in August 12th, the twenty-sixth World University Games, which will be held for 10 days, will be held in Shenzhen.
