In the first half of 2007, 1-6 months, the import of footwear products in the United States increased moderately, with an import value of US $9 billion 654 million, an increase of 3.07% over the same period in 2006. The number of imports of finished shoes was 1 billion 339 million pairs, and the import amount was 9 billion 480 million US dollars, respectively, up 5.51% and 3.88% respectively over the same period last year.

Finished shoes from China are still dominant, with an import volume of 1 billion 67 million pairs and an import amount of US $6 billion 148 million, which accounts for 87.22% and 73.09% of the US import market respectively.

Followed by Italy, Vietnam, Brazil and other countries.
