The chamber of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement to build a "China footwear export base".

Zhao Yide, vice secretary and mayor of the municipal Party committee, and Wang Zhongqi, President of China Chamber of Commerce for import and export of light industrial arts and crafts, unveiled their bases.

Wenzhou is one of the birthplaces of China's shoe leather industry.

Since the reform and opening up, especially in the past 20 years, the footwear industry in Wenzhou has gradually formed a regional industrial cluster with its own brand aggregation, complete industry support and well-developed marketing network. The independent brand occupies half of the shoe leather industry in China. Wenzhou has become one of the most competitive shoe leather industries and export bases in China.

The shoe leather industry has completed the total industrial output value of 78 billion yuan, and achieved 675 million pairs of footwear exports, and its products are sold to 150 countries and regions in the world. Footwear exports account for five of the total strength of the province.

According to the agreement, the chamber of Commerce will provide information on the production, trade, technology and other related products of domestic and foreign related products to our shoe manufacturers, and organize the participation in exhibitions, promotion teams and other services at home and abroad.

And our city will give full play to the radiation effect of the export base and increase the technology.

The support of market and information will lead the shoe leather enterprises to pform and upgrade, expand the market, and truly build the "China Shoes Capital" into a national regional brand, and build the export base of Chinese footwear into a demonstration base for the pformation and upgrading of foreign trade.
