Acquisition of HERMES14.2% equity



LVMH10, the world's largest luxury goods group, announced on 23 March that it had purchased shares of HERMES 14.2%, a well-known fashion and luxury brand, plus a convertible derivative on hand, with a total holding volume of 17.1%, plus a total of 1 billion 450 million euros.

This makes LVMH group the largest individual shareholder outside the HERMES family.

It is said that the acquisition was carried out quietly until the HERMES family knew it only one hour before the information was released.

The HERMES family dislikes this unsolicited acquisition, and says in an interview that it will firmly maintain the family's control over the brand, and clearly does not consider any large-scale pfer plan.
