According to data released by EuromonitorInternational, the value of China's clothing and footwear products market in 2010 will reach RMB 334 billion yuan (US $50 billion), equivalent to nearly double the total market volume 5 years ago.

SophiaWu, an analyst at SinopacSecurities in Shanghai, Yongfeng, said Adidas is facing a challenge of managing prices in the Chinese market, because China's inflation rate is rising and raw material prices are also rising.


Adidas said today that Gao Jiali (ColinCurrie) will succeed Du Bairui as the managing director of the Greater China region, and will take effect from January 1st next year. Du Bairui will become the company's chief e-commerce officer next year.
