Henan Zhoukou Has Achieved Remarkable Results In Undertaking Shoe Industry Pfer.
On the morning of October 28th, Shi Jichun, vice governor of the Henan provincial government, awarded the "Henan export base for shoe making industry" plaque on behalf of the Henan provincial government to Zhoukou. This is the first one in Henan province. It marks Zhoukou city's success in undertaking the pfer of Taiwan funded shoemaking industry and creating the export base for shoemaking industry.

The total planning area of the export base is 39400 mu, of which 7500 Mu are planned in the near future, 13000 mu in the medium term planning area, and 18900 mu in long-term planning area, which are distributed in 11 industrial agglomeration areas of the whole city.
At present, there are more than 10 Taiwan funded shoemaking enterprises such as Kaiser, Fugou Bao Chang, Shang Shui Qiang Hong, development zone, and so on.
Among them, Xihua Kahn shoe industry and Shangshui strong Hong shoe industry have already formed certain production capacity, and successfully achieved export, showing a certain export strength.
By 2020, the export base of footwear industry in Zhoukou will be built.

It is a well-known and internationally influential "central shoe capital", which integrates shoe production, research and development, and supporting equipment trading. It forms the "two garden" with the footwear industry park of Xihua county and the shoe industry park of Shangshui County as the core. It also radiated the "three centers" of the central leather shoe material trading center, shoe machine hardware fittings trading center, warehousing logistics distribution center and other "three centers" in the industrial agglomeration area of Zhoukou Economic Development Zone, Xiangcheng, Luyi, Fugou, Shenqiu, Dancheng, Huaiyang, Taikang, Sichuan and so on, forming a development pattern of "one capital, two gardens and three centers".
Lin Zhaojie, director of the Taiwan footwear industry association, told reporters that Taiwan funded shoemaking enterprises and Zhoukou have a good cooperation prospect. Zhoukou has good conditions to undertake such a large scale shoe-making industry pfer, and Henan is the most suitable to undertake such a shift.
This is not available in other countries and regions such as Southeast Asia. Our goal is to catch up with Italy in ten years' time.
