Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Status

In recent years, the difficulty of College Students' employment has aroused social concern.

This year, the employment situation of university graduates is in the financial crisis.

Influence

It is also not optimistic. In 2009, there will be 6 million 110 thousand college graduates nationwide, an increase of 520 thousand over the previous year.

Therefore, it is a new choice for university students to start their own businesses.

Under the background of difficult employment, many people prescribe "prescription" for college students to start their own businesses.

However, one of the latest

investigation

However, it shows that it is not easy for university students to start their own businesses. The proportion of the 2009 graduates who start their own businesses is only 1.2%, which is basically the same as the 1% of the 2008 and 1.2% of the 2007.

The survey released by the third party research company, Mike Si, also showed that the proportion of university graduates who had different levels and levels of self employment also varied greatly: the proportion of 2009 entrepreneurs in 211 universities was 0.4%, non 211 institutions were 0.8%, vocational colleges were 1.6%, and from 2007 to 2009, the proportion of self employment of higher vocational graduates was much higher than that of undergraduates.

In addition, the more well employed schools, the less self-employed graduates.

From a professional point of view, the 2009 graduates have the largest number of independent entrepreneurial majors in art design, and the proportion of entrepreneurship is 7.4%. The higher vocational education is electromechanical integration technology, and the proportion of entrepreneurship is 5.5%.

From the professional perspective, the role played by university graduates is more concentrated. The 2009 undergraduate and higher vocational entrepreneurs are concentrated in sales occupations, and the most important part is the management of enterprises, that is, career as general manager and daily supervisor.

From the perspective of the industry, the 2009 graduates have independent entrepreneurial skills and are mainly concentrated in the personal service and sales industries.

In the top five industries, the total number of professional design and consulting services industry with relatively high level of innovation, the media, information and communications industry accounted for only 14%, while retail business and wholesale business accounted for about 40%.

This shows that graduates who start their own businesses do not have the ability to develop technology products, and self employment is mainly engaged in sales work. Such jobs have higher requirements for basic abilities and general knowledge, but they usually do not require professional skills education.

The survey also shows that the bottom line and income of entrepreneurs are higher than expected.

Crowd

The 2009 college graduates expect their monthly salary to be 2429 yuan, which is higher than that of the 2024 graduates of the same term. The average monthly salary of their graduates is 3028 yuan, which is higher than the actual monthly salary level of 2225 yuan for the same graduates, 1/3.
