The shoe accessories exhibition will be held in Busan, the second largest city in South Korea.

The sole footwear exhibition is sponsored by the South Korean shoe industry revitalization center.


As early as 20 years ago, South Korea is one of the global shoe manufacturing centers and has a huge industrial base. With the large-scale pfer of industry, Busan's position in the shoe industry has gradually declined. In recent years, with the rise of precision manufacturing industry in Korea, the Busan municipal government has established the "Busan shoe industry revitalization center", which is committed to extending the "advanced shoes and functional shoes" to the upper reaches of the industry.

As the only footwear exhibition in Korea, the Busan international footwear and footwear exhibition will be positioned clearly to create professional exhibitions of sophisticated footwear, special skills shoes and related components.

The exhibition not only provides the most direct window to understand the development of Korean footwear industry, but also brings fresh and sophisticated footwear product information.

The buyers of the exhibition are mainly Korean department stores, TV shopping, large supermarket visitors, as well as 261 overseas main distributors and 350 buyers in China.

The exhibition is open to the general public. It also invites students from the design institute to visit the site, paying great attention to the interaction with the audience and encouraging the shoe industry to innovate.

At the exhibition site, exhibitors design a lot of experience projects, while interacting with the audience, they also try their best to publicize their products and culture.


According to exhibitors, Korean consumers are very demanding on shoes. They not only focus on comfort and functionality, but also pay great attention to fashion sense.

In pursuit of higher comfort, the design of shoes is also closely integrated with human mechanics, physics, medicine and so on. At the exhibition site, shoes with various special functions can be seen, such as skid resistant shoes, shoes that relieve knee and waist pain, five toe shoes running in sand, thermal insulation materials and so on, and can be tried on.


In the pursuit of fashion sense, influenced by the development of the leading fashion industry in Korea, designers pay great attention to the personalization of shoes and the details of shoes design. They are concerned about the trend and the trend of fashion, but do not follow blindly, but pay more attention to the understanding of fashion spirit and conception.

At the exhibition site, the styles of shoes displayed by various enterprises are quite distinctive. They can see the personalized design of various parts such as shoelaces, soles and uppers, and even the components of shoelaces are also patented.


South Korea's top shoe and functional footwear enterprises are actively participating in the exhibition.


The exhibition took part in 148 enterprises (102 last year), of which 44 were overseas enterprises (14 last year), accounting for 29.7%; OEMPrimaryVendorFair (shoe materials) had 40 enterprises (21 domestic, 19 overseas); compared with last year, the proportion of participating enterprises was 55%; and 9 special exhibition booths (4 last year).

Among them, there are 30 shoe exhibition stands, 50 shoe materials (mainly textile fabrics), and a small number of finished leather, shoe machine, scientific research, etc., as well as the display of the international advanced shoes functional skills competition.


The largest number of exhibitors in the exhibition are local businesses in Korea, namely Lecaf, Treksta, Vitro and TAW&TOE.

Lecaf is the winner of the 2010 Enterprise Development Award. It is the largest functional footwear development enterprise in Korea. Treksta is Korea's domestic brand market share of first to 2; Vitro is the first to 2 place of Korean tennis shoes and badminton shoes; TAW&TOE is a brand sold only in pharmacies and hospitals, and enjoys a high reputation in Korea.

The main activities of 2010BISS include the gathering of World Korean shoes, the Symposium on biomechanical properties of shoes, the joint seminar on AFBG&KSSB, the evaluation report on the brand operation of Korean footwear industry, the briefing on the development trend of sophisticated footwear, the Symposium on Chinese media, the seminar on the trend of shoe flow, the trend of shoe trends, the Korea footwear industry briefing, and the opening ceremony of Busan Galmealgil walking festival.
