The theme of the 2010 China (Dalian) International Garment and Textile Fair (hereinafter referred to as the Expo) opened in the World Expo Plaza.

The exhibition area of this year's Fair is 40 thousand square meters. The exhibitors come from 13 countries, regions and more than 20 cities in Italy, Spain and Japan.

Vice Minister of Commerce Chong Quan, vice president of China Textile Industry Association Chen Shujin, mayor of Dalian, Li Wancai jointly opened the Expo.


As a national exhibition, the scale and scale of this year's Expo are the highest ever.

The exhibition will be divided into professional exhibition and retail exhibition at Expo Plaza and Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Center. The exhibition area will be 40 thousand square meters and 1700 standard booths will be set up.

Among them, the professional exhibition area is 25 thousand square meters, with 1000 booths, 200 more than last year, and 15 thousand square meters of retail exhibition area, with 700 booths.

The exhibition hall is divided into overseas high fashion exhibition area, national independent brand exhibition area, textile and sewing equipment exhibition area, fashion accessories exhibition area.

During the same period, there were nearly 30 special events such as exhibitions, forums, promotion sessions, design competitions, model competitions and fashion trends.


Different from the past, the current Expo will touch people from more angles: first, the international characteristics are becoming more and more distinct; the two is to show that Dalian enterprises pay more attention to the two sides of the design creativity and marketing, and strengthen the brand building; three, the enthusiasm of local and foreign clusters, showing the value of Dalian and the Northeast market; four, vigorously promoting new ideas, new concepts and new models, and Dalian holding their own voice; five, the Dalian municipal government actively create, the general public actively participate in, and the whole city is in love with fashion culture.
