Kampuchea'S Exports Of Garments And Textiles Increased By 13% Over The Same Period In July.
The latest statistics released by the Commodity Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of Kampuchea showed that Kampuchea exported garments in July 2010.

The total volume was $298 million, an increase of 13% over the same period last year and an increase of 11% over June this year.

According to Kun Lu, Secretary General of Kampuchea Garment Manufacturers Association, Kampuchea garment industry is still facing many difficulties, such as high electricity tariffs, low production efficiency and raw material prices.
Nancy Kang, head of marketing at Injae garment factory in Kampuchea, said that its orders in July increased by 15% over the same period last year, but this did not make the factory profit a lot, because it came from Korea and China.

According to the specific data of the Commodity Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce in Kampuchea, the total garments exported to Kampuchea from the United States in July of 2010 amounted to US $953 million, an increase of 9% over the same period last year of US $871 million.
Exports to the EU also amounted to US $405 million, an increase of 12% over the same period last year, while exports to other markets totaled US $236 million, up 16%.
