Gansu'S Trademark Strategy Has Entered The "Fast Lane".

The opinions on speeding up the implementation of trademark strategy and promoting Gansu's economic development drafted by the Gansu industrial and commercial bureau have been approved by the provincial government and forwarded to various prefectures and provincial departments. This marks our province's trademark strategy entering the "fast lane".


The opinion points out that the overall target of implementing the trademark strategy in the whole province is: by 2015, the total number of registered trademarks has reached twenty thousand, 40 well-known trademarks and 700 famous trademarks; by 2020, the total number of registered trademarks has reached 30 thousand, with 80 well-known trademarks and 1000 famous trademarks.

Trademark supervision is further standardized, trademark awareness is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and the ability of the market players to register, apply, protect and manage trademarks has been significantly enhanced, making trademarks a powerful support for Gansu enterprises to participate in market competition and implement the "going out" strategy.


Relying on the existing industry and product advantages, we should actively develop equipment manufacturing, high technology and resource saving, environmental protection industries, product trademarks, and comprehensively enhance the trademark value of equipment manufacturing industry, vigorously develop trademarks of special agricultural products, encourage agricultural enterprises and farmers' professional cooperative organizations to apply for registration of trademarks and collective trademarks with geographical indications, focus on creating export trade marks, promote enterprises to actively carry out international trade marks registration, encourage export enterprises to register trademarks in domestic and major exporting countries and regions, accelerate the cultivation of service trademarks, speed up the development of modern service industry, actively implement service brand strategy, and promote the pformation and upgrading of the service industry in the whole province; enhance the competitiveness of the service industry in the whole province, and enhance the competitiveness of the trademark with distinctive characteristics, so as to create a number of well-known trademarks and famous trademarks with national cultural characteristics and folk customs. "Opinions" said that we should actively cultivate manufacturing trademarks and focus on the regional economic development strategy of the province.
