Advanced Technology For Superfine Artificial Leather

2008/8/8 15:34:00 41771

The current situation of the artificial leather market is analyzed, and different artificial leather production technologies are evaluated.

A good solution for producing advanced artificial leather products with good environmental protection effect is to apply Spunlaced technology to the recycling process of PET microfiber.

Tradik technology, which has many years of experience, can be used as an option for future investment in artificial leather production.

    一、超细人工皮革市场

The production of artificial leather has experienced tremendous development in quantity and quality.

Artificial leather is no longer a cheap substitute for leather. The advanced superfine artificial leather tries to surpass the real leather in performance, and its price is even more expensive than the genuine leather.

The difference between artificial leather and synthetic leather is that synthetic leather is made of woven or knitted base material, and artificial leather is made of nonwoven substrate.

Japan has taken the lead in the development of advanced artificial leather and monopolized the high-end market.

In 2003, the output of artificial leather in Asia reached 1 billion 767 million 570 thousand m2, of which 516 million 560 thousand m2 was produced in Japan, while the output of synthetic leather exceeded 63200m2, most of which were produced in mainland China (44000m2), followed by 170 million m2 in Korea and Taiwan in China, followed by 22 million m2 in Japan.

1. Application market of artificial leather.

2. Comparison of fiber composition and market price in artificial leather.

The fibers used in artificial leather include two kinds of superfine fiber and ordinary fiber. The linear density of superfine fiber is less than 0. 55dtex, and the linear density of ordinary fiber is higher than 1 1dtex.

The market price comparison between the two.

3, compare the price of super fine suede and glossy leather.

    二、人工皮革的生产技术

1. The existing technology of artificial leather production

Artificial leather has many kinds of production technology. Table 4 lists detailed information on the production, sorting, production technology and manufacturers of artificial leather in various Japanese companies.

2. Comparison of different production processes

(1) blend fiber (indefinite island fiber): the advantage is that it is easy to produce very fine fibers. The disadvantage is that it is necessary to dissolve the fibers with solvent. The dissolved sea part PS will be consumed, and the proportion of "sea" is high, and the proportion of polyurethane (PU) used in leather making is also high.

(2) island fiber: the advantage is that the fiber density is uniform, but if it is PET / PS component, it also needs solvent treatment; if it is PA / CoPET component, then part of the "sea" part of the CoPET will also be wasted.

(3) direct spinning: no pollution, no loss, PET can be recycled.

(4) polyester / nylon composite: the artificial leather contains two ingredients without pollution, but it is difficult to split the two ingredients intact.

Because of the reason of color fastness, it is not suitable for suede. Because of PA, it is not suitable for industrial application.

3. Market classification

According to its quality, the market classification of artificial leather products is as follows:

(1) high-grade artificial suede: Japanese factory monopolizes the market and belongs to high-end products for clothing, household and automotive industries.

(2) artificial suede: mainly produced by South Korea and Taiwan, China. It is made of nylon island fiber and applied to shoes and bags.

(3) artificial smooth leather: made of superfine nylon island fiber, used in shoes and bags.

(4) plain glossy leather: made of ordinary polyester or nylon, mainly used in shoes and bags.

(5) woven suede: it is not artificial leather and the price is low.

4. Analysis of the production situation of superfine artificial leather

(1) from the above data analysis, we can see that the high-grade suede has the highest added value, and the most suitable substrate is PET superfine fiber nonwovens.

(2) starting from environmental protection requirements, fiber needs to be recycled. It is a good solution to apply spunlace technology to the processing of recyclable PET microfiber.

(3) artificial leather made of PA fiber is suitable for shoes and all kinds of other products.

(4) fiber is very important in the production of advanced artificial leather.

At present, Japan occupies the largest share of the high-end artificial leather market, because Japan has the leading microfiber spinning technology.

Japan basically does not sell fiber and substrate, so other countries and manufacturers can hardly enter the market.

(5) Tradik has many years of experience in artificial leather production, and its technology can be used as an option for future investment in artificial leather.
